OK, it’s time for Clash Today’s verdict on the new Clash of Clans update. SHOCKING is the one word we would use. If we had to use two words it would be MONEY GRAB.

What were Supercell thinking? Nobody wanted or asked for this update, other than possibly their shareholders. Yet, they force this nonsense on us and leave hugely requested improvements on the cutting room floor.

We all play CoC because we love it, so why on earth would Supercell introduce a sub par look-alike and not improve the current version. Their thought process boggles the mind.

Sneaky Supercell have introduced CoC2 by the back door and forcing CoC1 players to engage or be disadvantaged. Supercell encourages Fair Play, this update is anything but.

What is really disturbing is that CoC developers now have two games to update. CoC1 updates were already painfully slow and it is likely that their attention will now focus entirely on their new game and not the original Clash of Clans.

CoC2 is painful to play, it’s mind numbingly boring compared to CoC1 and when you do start to get engaged your are banned from earning more loot. It’s currently pointless playing the game for more than 20 minutes a day. Of course, you could always gem and bring a smile to the shareholders pockets.

The developers at Supercell appear to live on a different planet. CoC2 may be a temporary commercial success but Supercell are treating its paying customers as fools. They are not interested in making CoC1 better just emptying your pockets.

Many YouTubers were recently flown and wined and dined in Helsinki, I wonder if any of these will speak out and salvage some of their dignity. I doubt it, you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

If you agree, share this post with your favourite YouTuber! If you disagree with our verdict, why?
