We re constantly asked if the “free gems” sites or Clash of Clans hacks are genuine. They are not! This is our advice:

How can I get free gems?

We at Clash Today can’t offer you free gems. You need to earn those gems! Our advice is join a great clan, raid loads and have fun. If the clan isn’t fun, join another.

Supercell won’t off you free gems either as that would not be fair to other Clashers.

However, there are many ways to get free gems in the game:

– Earn Gems by completing achievements
– Find hidden gems by clearing trees and rocks in your village. Remember that some of these grow back, so keep checking!
– Open the gem box that appears in your village every now and then

Never trust websites that offer free gems in return for your personal log-in details or passwords.

Are there hacks to get free gems and resources?

There are no “hacks” that will let players get free gems, gold, elixir or trophies, or let them attack with impossibly high troop numbers or levels. No tools or apps will let players change the rules of Clash, as these are protected by our extremely secure game servers.

Supercell say they are working hard on blocking attempts to exploit the game altogether. Good sportsmanship is a hallmark of Clash of Clans, and we get just as angered and annoyed as you by players who try to bend the rules of the game.

Can I buy gems outside the game?

If you are in need of more gems to finish upgrades or buy items in Clash of Clans, the only authorised way to buy gems is through the in-game shop which runs via iTunes and Google Play.

There are several third party websites that offer in-game currency for Clash of Clans, but none of these are safe to use or authorised by Supercell. Often these third parties will ask for your Game Center or Google Play log-in credentials. This means they will be able to access your game, and we can no longer guarantee the security of your account.

In case you purchased gems from somewhere other than through the game, Supercell cannot assist you any further as your account is already in breach of their Terms of Service.

Supercell may ban accounts with gem orders from third-party websites.

Unauthorised Gem Selling & Game Economy Abuse

By exploiting private player data and stolen credit cards, certain websites and individuals sell in-game currency for real world money.

Such practices request private login data to access your account. While attached to your account, salespeople purchase in-game currency with stolen credit cards and/or payment fraud, without worrying about how the consequences may hurt you.

IMPORTANT: If you release your private logins to illicit parties, you are permanently putting not only your game, but also financial and online security into a high-risk situation.
