Supercell are not only cracking down on modders by issuing an initial two-week ban. Clashes are also receiving 2 day bans for offensive war bases. This isn’t something new but maybe delivered in a new no nonsense approach. However, it does appear that they are being over zealous in this approach.
Supercell have extensive Terms of Service and are applauded and encouraged to suspend accounts that are offensive. Clash Today have been informed that a base depicting someone on a toilet received a 2 day war ban. That base seems amusing and not intimidating, obscene or a particularly offensive subject matter. On at least one occasion it is known that this ban was terminated early and gem compensation paid for the error. A welcomed gesture, but maybe it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
The following are the Supercell ToS dealing with this.
- Post any information that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory, libelous, or racially, sexually, religiously, or otherwise objectionable or offensive.
- Post any information that contains nudity, excessive violence, or offensive subject matter or that contains a link to such content.
- Attempt to, or harass, abuse, or harm, or advocate or incite harassment, abuse, or harm of another person, group, including Supercell employees, including Supercell’s customer service representatives.
